The cherries were good but, alas, gone now. Sorry you don’t have, but you probably get plums or apricots which, for reasons unknown, we never have around here.

I am SO jealous–we never get sour cherries in this part of the world (Boston). We do pickle regular cherries, but that Sour Cherry Pie sounds like a heart-stopper. Ken

Our attempts at fruit-growing have all been busts. Or, I guess I should say, they apparently made great lunches for deer. That was my 1st try at a lattice crust–reminded me of weaving those little potholders as a child!
